Amazing Wine Discounts Paul Hoabbs, Ramey, Patz & Hall & Brewer Clifton

Ramey Larkmead Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2006
Usually $70 a bottle Now $45.99 minimum 6 bottle purchase
93 points from Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: "Glass-staining ruby. Deep, youthfully brooding cassis and dark cherry on the nose, with a strong licorice note building in the glass. Sappy black and blue fruit flavors are framed by dusty tannins and energized by a tangy mineral note. The licorice quality repeats on the finish, which is broad, sappy and impressively persistent. For a big boy, this is pretty graceful." (May/Jun '09) 92+ points from Robert Parker: "Although backward, the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon Larkmead Vineyard (3,820 cases) is extremely promising. Its inky/ruby/purple color is followed by a gorgeous perfume of smoke herbs, graphite, creme de cassis, coffee beans, and toasty oak. With sensational fruit on the attack and mid-palate, and a finish filled with power
Ramey Claret Napa Valley 2007
Usually $38 a bottle Now $31.99 minimum 12 bottle purchase
93 points Wine Spectator: "Bordeaux-like in its subtlety and restraint, yet rich, flavorful, full-bodied and expansive, with a mix of cedar, currant, cigar box, tar and mineral. Firm and focused, its elegance and refinement are impressive. Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2018."
Paul Hobbs Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2007
Usually $75 a bottle Now $59.99 minimum 12 bottle purchase
93 points Robert Parker: "The least expensive effort is the opaque purple-colored 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa. A blockbuster, it offers up classic notes of charcoal, subtle smoke, black currants, black berries, lead pencil shavings, and earth. This deep, opulent, full-bodied Cabernet possesses terrific purity as well as length. It should drink well for 15+ years."
Brewer Clifton Pinot Noir Sta Rita Hills 2009
Usually $40 a bottle Now $29.99 minimum 12 bottle purchase
A lovely Central Coast Pinot Noir from the team at Brewer-Clifton that highlights the character of the Sta Rita Hills appellation. This comes mostly from the Mount Carmel and 3-D vineyards, with complementary fruit from the Rio Vista and Zotovitch sties. Whole cluster fermented and raised in neutral oak for a wonderfully pure fruit expression. Its sweet, red-fruited fragrance is lifted by hints of roses in full bloom. In the mouth it's spicy, meaty and fruit-filled, with firm tannins that indicate it still needs a little time in your cellar or some air before you drink it.
Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2009
Usually $42 a bottle Now $31.99 minimum 12 bottle purchase
90 Points Stephen Tanzer. By focusing exclusively on Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Patz & Hall has become one of the stand out names among California wineries intent on stealing a bit of Burgundy's thunder. This new release exhibits aromas of strawberry, cherry, cranberry and Kirsch that are echoed on the palate alongside notes of Asian spice. The tannins are broad and muscular, adding mouthcoating richness and vibrant intensity. Lush and compelling now, but with a depth and structure that bodes well for extended aging.
